How does it work?


When the warm outside air passes through the water evaporizer, energy exchange takes place between the flowing air and water, which significantly decreases air temperature. The supply air is cooled by a large amount of heat energy taken from the air flow required for water evaporization, not by cold water.
Warmer and drier outside air leads to more effective cooling. This works both in the course of the seasons and throughout the day. If the temperature of the outside air is higher than 30°C, it can be effectively cooled by at least 7°C. Adiabatic cooling is 4 to 7 times more efficient than conventional air conditioning systems and has lower investment costs.

The practical result of adiabatic ventilation and cooling in the working area is determined by multiple parameters, such as internal and external thermal load, dimensions and shape of the building, type of distribution, number and position of adiabatic cooling units.

It is used mainly in industrial halls and buildings with partial industrial use, which cannot be fully air-conditioned due to their size. Clean and hygienic operation

1. Prevention of scaling and water hardness
Ensured by equal watering of the desorption medium and abundance of water on the desorption medium. Water in the reservoir is automatically and regularly replaced.

2. Prevention of water contamination – algae and bacteria
Normal tap drinking water is used. The water temperature is constantly kept between 20 and 25°C. Frequent water replacement (at least once a day, typically once every hour). After the cooling procedure the unit is always emptied and dried.


3. Prevention of air contamination
The water evaporates directly on the desorption medium and is not sprayed. No drops of water are produced. The air contains only clean water vapour.


4. Prevention of condensation

The system of adiabatic cooling is active only in summer. Air cooled in an adiabatic way is cooler than the environment and all usual objects in the building. Normal operating relative humidity in a building with adiabatic cooling is between 50 and 65%.
