The European directive, which is referred to in the non-binding norm ČSN EN 15 665 ordains air exchange values for commercial and production areas of 5 to 15 times per hour according to the nature of operation. The FAIRAIR technology easily meets both the Czech norm and the European directive.

Since 1 January 2016 the Ecodesign Directive has been in force which defines a requirement for multi-speed or fully adjustable fans for the ventilation of non-residential buildings with a minimum airflow capacity of 1000 m³/hour.

Additional EU requirements will be applicable from 2030:

1. Increase in energy efficiency of industrial buildings by 30%,

2. Decrease in energy consumption of buildings by 40%.

The Ecodesign Directive sets out the main requirements for environment-friendly properties of products associated with energy consumption. The new generation of FAIRAIR technology brings considerable savings. The system is a result of continuous development of decentralized indoor climate technologies. With the FAIRAIR units you will have zero pressure loss in the duct; on the other hand, you will achieve better air distribution and prevent heat loss.
